Macungie Ambulance Corps Open House 2009

Members of The Alburtis Vol. Fire Department participated in the Macungie Ambulance Corps open house today.  The event was held from 11AM until 3PM.  Fire apparatus, EMS units, UMT Safety Trailer, Whitehall Water Rescue, LVH Medevac, area police departments, and Eastern PA EMS Council was on hand.  Childrens games and face painting was also available.  The Alburtis Crew preformed the rescue demonstration, which consisted of 2 pt trapped in a station wagon.  Crew extricated both in 22 minutes by preformed 2- 3rd door conversions and a full roof removal.  A great time was had by all.
